Meet Galen Tromble from Silver Spring, Maryland, United States |
Galen is a retired National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Division Chief who founded ClimateYogi to bring the practices of yoga into the context of climate change. He helps organize the DC Metro Pachamama Alliance Community and their work reversing global warming.

Building Transformational Drawdown Communities |
Community leaders June Hament, Marty Levin, and Sue Staropoli collaborated with Pachamama Alliance staff members Mario Trigueros and Rogér Knoren to host a workshop titled Building Transformational Drawdown Communities: Deepening Our Capacity for Meaningful Action at the 2019 Drawdown Learn Conference, which included Project Drawdown staff, indigenous activists, youth climate leaders, and policy makers.

At the Pachamama Alliance Annual Luncheon in November, co-founder Lynne Twist said "We in the U.S. subsidize oil companies with $26 billion a year. And 1/1000th of that is spent on natural solutions to global warming. We’ve got our priorities all wrong with money in this country and in this world."
